Horizon Health's Occupational Health Clinic, located in the Jasper Street Annex, is designed to help area businesses keep workers on the job. We provide pre-placement physicals, post-injury care, and a full line of occupational health services.

Each company’s program is individually tailored to meet its specifications and may include any or all of our occupational health services. We work closely with area employers to effectively lower healthcare and safety costs. • Two providers dedicated solely to employee-related healthcare:
  • Pre-employment/post job offer physicals
  • Post-injury treatment
  • Onsite clinic days
• Simple suture repair
• 24-hour breath alcohol testing
• 24-hour urine drug testing
• Facilitated specialty care and referrals as needed
• Case management for employee injuries
• Federal and non-federal drug testing with a licensed medical review officer to evaluate all non-negative drug screens
• Auditory testing by a certified hearing conservationist
• Pulmonary function testing by NIOSH trained staff at Horizon Health
• Computerized respirator fit testing at Horizon Health
• Immunizations
• Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals
• On-site X-ray services
• Return to work evaluations
• Bus driver physicals
• Multiple forms of drug testing
• Laboratory testing
• Fire and police department medical service
• Tuberculosis screening
• Bloodborne pathogen treatment and consultation
• First responder physicals

In addition to assisting area businesses with work-related illnesses and injuries, we partner with companies to promote the concept of wellness to all employees through the following:

• Assist with on-site health fairs and/or screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood glucose screenings
• Speakers customized to the needs of the company
• Hepatitis B vaccine series and influenza vaccines during flu season
• On-site wellness physicals and can set up a wellness/health clinic at your facility
