About the provider

Danielle has worked at the Chrisman Clinic since 2014 as a family nurse practitioner. In 2020, she expanded her practice to include outpatient psychiatric services. 

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Danielle provides psychiatric services for patients of all ages, including children age 5 and older. She treats common to complex conditions, such as ADHD, addiction, anxiety, child behavior or academic issues, obesity and/or eating disorders. She also treats bipolar disorder, dementia, depression, insomnia, PTSD, and schizophrenia. She prescribes behavioral health-related medications when appropriate, one of which is Suboxone, a medication-assisted treatment for drug addiction.

Danielle has worked as a registered nurse since 2008, with experience in the medical, surgical, and step-down units. She was also a preceptor and resource nurse. Danielle’s training as a family nurse practitioner included an emphasis in rural health.

Danielle loves getting to know her patients and working with them to achieve their healthcare goals and needs. Her interests include health promotion and wellness, chronic care management, and mental health.
