COVID-19 vaccines are available and ready for use at the Paris Clinic.
The Moderna vaccine, which is a two-shot series to become fully vaccinated, is available to adults age 18 and older.
"We've made getting a vaccine quick and easy," said Lacey Stults, clinic director.
There are several convenient ways to get a vaccine at the Paris Clinic:
- You can request a vaccine during an already scheduled clinic appointment.
- Walk-ins are accepted during regular business hours – Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
- You can schedule a vaccine appointment with your primary care provider.
Insurance is charged an administration fee, but there are no out-of-pocket expenses.
Guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state people who are fully vaccinated do not have to mask indoors, outdoors, or socially distance. Exceptions may apply in certain instances based on federal, state, and local regulations. Masking is still required in a healthcare facility.
In addition to the Paris Clinic, vaccines are available at the Edgar County Health Department, Walmart and Pearman Pharmacy. Individuals are encouraged to get a vaccine at a location that is convenient for them.
