Horizon Health Honors 20-Year Employees

Horizon Health recently honored eight employees for their 20 years of service at a special lunch ceremony.
Together, the employees represent 160 years of combined service. They join an elite group of 77 current and past employees who have reached the 20-year milestone.
Nan Dunning, human resources manager, touted the accomplishment, citing data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Currently, the average time spent at a job nationwide is 4.1 years. Twenty-two percent of workers works less than one year at a job.
“I truly see the value in the length of time we’ve been able to keep our people,” said Ollie Smith, Horizon Health president & CEO. “Over the years, we have had a tradition of welcoming new people and maintaining a family atmosphere.”
Employees honored for their 20 years of service include:
- Brenda Akens, CNA, clinic nursing
- Eunice Chaney, RN, administration/risk manager
- Amber Davis, radiology
- Amie Johnson, RN, surgical services
- Tina Lindsey, environmental services/housekeeping
- Michelle Martin, laboratory
- Jennifer Sayre, patient registration, Chrisman Clinic
- Pam Waller, finance
