Nurse Practitioner Opens New Practice in Paris

Samantha Volstorf, family nurse practitioner and a familiar face in the Wabash Valley, is now seeing patients in the Paris Family Medical Center.
In addition to her new family medicine practice in Paris, Volstorf also is providing support to Lauren Fore, MD, a family medicine physician in the Paris Family Medical Center.
Volstorf first joined Paris Community Hospital/Family Medical Center as a registered nurse in the hospital’s emergency room. She returned to PCH/FMC in 2012 as a nurse practitioner. She has served in various roles over the years, most recently providing patient care at the EZ Care walk-in clinic. She provided coverage at the Chrisman Family Medical Center on several occasions, and worked as a hospitalist in the inpatient unit at Paris Community Hospital.
Prior to PCH/FMC, Volstorf worked as a nurse practitioner at medical clinics in Clinton and Terre Haute, Ind. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She received an associate’s degree and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana State University. Her medical interests include women’s health, pediatrics, mental health, and dermatology.
Volstorf is accepting new patients and offers same-day appointments when possible. Her office hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 8 am to 5:30 pm. She also sees patients over the lunch hour.
