Paris Community Hospital/Family Medical Center will welcome Lauren Fore, MD, family medicine physician, to its medical staff next month.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Fore provides care for patients from infants to seniors.
“I hope to build a true family medicine practice, seeing patients of all ages,” said Dr. Fore. “I love caring for children. I’d like to see lots of kids, but not only kids.”
Dr. Fore recently completed medical residency through the Southern Illinois University residency program at Decatur Memorial Hospital. She earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois where she majored in molecular and cellular biology, with a minor in chemistry.
Dr. Fore is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the Illinois Academy of Family Practice, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Fore is a native of Hindsboro, Ill., and attended Arcola schools, making her familiar with east central Illinois.
“I knew I wanted to practice in a small town that was close to home, and Paris is the perfect fit,” said Dr. Fore.
She and her husband, Riley, moved to Paris in August with their daughters Kadence, 2, and Clara, 1.
Dr. Fore will open her practice in the Paris Family Medical Center on Monday, October 3. Appointments are being accepted now. Call (217) 463-1946.
