The Horizon Health laboratory offers 24-hour turnaround service for in-house
tests and 48-hour turnaround for tests that need to be sent to a reference
laboratory. We maintain ongoing quality control, proficiency, and quality
assurance programs designed to objectively and systematically monitor
and evaluate the quality of services provided.
Our lab has been accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP)
since 1995. CAP is considered the “gold standard” in laboratory
accreditation.
Our lab offers a full range of microbiology tests, as well as the following:

Glucose tolerance testing
Basic panel (includes glucose test)
Lipid panels
Complete metabolic panel (includes glucose test)
Pregnancy
Stool culture
Your healthcare provider will coordinate with the lab which tests you need
and when. Lab results are prompt and accurate and will aid with a proper
diagnosis.
