In recognition of American Heart Month, Horizon Health will host its annual Wear Red women’s event on Friday, February 6, from noon to 1 pm, at the American Legion, 1031 N. Main Street, in Paris, IL.

Dr. Laney Robinson, family medicine physician, will discuss heart disease in women and share strategies for maintaining a healthy heart. She will dive into specific risk factors and ways to reduce them. Shannon Jones, cardiopulmonary rehab manager, will lead a brief interactive session demonstrating workplace-friendly exercises.

Community women are encouraged to wear red and invite their sisters, daughters, coworkers, and friends to attend.

The cost is $20 per person and includes lunch and a small gift. Register at MyHorizonHealth.org/WearRed.
